A playground for adults

KatHeaD are an art movement and a band curated by Martin Pig and Jess Wilks.

They combine a wealth of experience and talent with a post punk attitude. Having both been working in therapeutic settings using music as a tool for helping others they have by happy chance found a moment to pursue their musical mayhem and madness in collaboration after a 30 year hiatus from their original three piece band in the 1990s.

KatHeaD also describes the state of mind they say they have found most conducive to the  creative process of making music. Free from preconceptions and curious.

Rearranging word sounds and symbols to shake some atoms,  resonate some solids, reflect and momentarily capture an expression or feeling that is by nature transitory .

To err is to be human.
To give up trying for fear of failure is tragic.
